Intact follows Robin’s fifty-year attempt to build the unbroken home she believed everyone else had. Through candid storytelling and original songs, she revisits family, relationships, regret, reinvention, and the choices that shaped her life.
Along the way, her definition of being intact begins to look nothing like she expected.

When Robin Colucci was in second grade, a teacher suggested that she might be better at math if she came from an “intact home” instead of one her parents had “broken.”
The word stayed with her.
Robin came home each day to an empty apartment. She missed her father fiercely and struggled with her mother, even while understanding that her mother was working three jobs and completing graduate school to build a better life for them.
Maybe, Robin wondered, her teacher was right. Maybe her home was broken.
Intact follows one woman’s fifty-year attempt to build the unbroken home she imagined everyone else had: a mother, a father, and a house owned by the people living inside it.
Through personal storytelling and original songs, Robin revisits her parents’ marriages and divorces, several defining relationships of her own, and the decisions she spent years trying to forgive.
What begins as a search for the right home becomes something else entirely: a funny, candid examination of responsibility, self-worth, reinvention, and the possibility that being whole does not require the ending you once imagined.

Robin Colucci is a writer, producer, and performer whose award-winning solo show, Intact: One Woman's Search for Home, won Best Original Music at the United Solo Awards — marking her return to the stage after a decade away. Her performance roots run deep: improv with Denver's Head Games, lead roles in regional theater, a stand-up run in the mid-2010s, and even a stint as lead singer of the band Maybe Next Week. By day, Robin runs World Changing Books, helping thought leaders and executives bring their stories to the page. On stage or on paper, she's in the business of turning experience into art.

Robin Colucci is a writer, producer, and performer whose award-winning solo show, Intact: One Woman's Search for Home, won Best Original Music at the United Solo Awards. The show marked Robin's return to the stage after roughly a decade away — and it almost didn't happen at all.
Robin's performance roots run deep. Her stage career began in sixth grade, playing Mabel in Pirates of Penzance and Nancy in Oliver!, followed by Maria in The Sound of Music the next year. She went on to land lead roles in regional theater, including Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream at Red Rocks Community College, Myrtle Mae in Harvey, and Lala — girlfriend to the title character — in Uma's Ladder, the two-person play that won the 1992 Rocky Mountain Playwrights Festival.
In Denver, she sharpened her comedic instincts as a member of Head Games, a professional improv troupe that performed throughout Denver and Boulder, and studied acting in a summer intensive at the National Theater Conservatory. She also did commercial and voiceover work, including a national campaign for Shane Company Jewelry in the mid-1990s. Around 2014–2015, she returned briefly to the stage for a run of stand-up comedy performances.
Then life took a turn. Robin set her acting ambitions aside to help build her then-husband's personal fitness training business, and for years she thought her performing life was over.
A move to Connecticut in 2016 reignited her connection to music — she became the lead singer of Maybe Next Week, a local band formed during COVID (named for its ever-shifting rehearsal schedule) that played together for about five years. That creative spark eventually led to a wilder idea: writing a one-woman show about growing up as a Gen X woman from a "broken" home. The result was Intact:One Woman’s Search for Home, which premiered at the United Solo Festival in March 2025 and has since returned twice by popular demand, including an encore at Theatre Row in November 2025.
Woven throughout is a parallel story: after leaving her marriage, Robin returned to publishing — the field she'd studied in her undergraduate journalism degree — and went on to found World Changing Books, drawing on her MA in Spiritual Psychology to help thought leaders and executives bring their books, and their stories, into the world. As she's said of the connection between the two callings, writing and performing Intact has made her a sharper storyteller in every part of her work — bolder, more economical, and more willing to let vulnerability do the heavy lifting.
Robin lives in Connecticut, where she continues to perform, write, and coach — proof that a "broken" home can still build something whole.
